IN HOUSE MANUFACTURING

Keeping grip on every step!

Manufacturing hall

After moving to the new location in 2019, we upgraded from one to three manufacturing halls; enabling us to divide each part of the process in these halls.

The lay-out of the halls has been incorporated in such a way that a clear and constant manufacturing flow can be realised.

By having a separate hall for cutting & rolling, a separate hall for steel and a separate hall for stainless steel there is a clear understanding on what goes where. This not only improves productivity, but also logistical processes and overall quality of the products.

Our latest addition to the production hall has been our state of the art welding robot. This new addition to our machinery line-up has increased our manufacturing capacity while simultaneously ensuring a consistent welding quality on our products.

Why in house?

To ensure quality and consistency of our products, Array has had in house manufacturing since our very first manufacturing project. Aside from insuring grip on every phase of the process, keeping your manufacturing in house comes with many advantages for our clients:

  • Better communication: faster and easier due to the elimination of possible language barriers and time-zone differences.
  • Control quality: easier to keep an eye on the quality of the product.
  • Flexibility: agility and the ability to react to the market quickly.
  • Rapid testing and new iterations: efficient workflow for testing prototype products.
  • Easy customization: faster fulfilment of customization request compared to outsourcing.
  • Bridge between the theory and practice: Clear visual sight off the designed product and endresult.

Certifications

In-house manufacturing comes with more responsibilities compared to outsourcing. Proper manufacturing requires proper certifications. Knowing this, Array has been a forerunner in the field of industrial quality standards. In 2011, Array became the first Dutch company to be certified for both EN-1090 (steel machining) and EN-13084/7 (chimney production). This coupled with the EN-3834/2 (quality requirements for fusion welding of metals) certificate guarantees that all quality requirements are safeguarded.

Besides this achievement, Array also received the ISO-14001 (environmental responsibility) certificate and the ISO-9001 (quality Management) certificate; all ready for more upcoming industrial projects in the industry.
