Challenge
- Oxidation takes place at a fast pace.
- Replace the stacks without any unacceptable risks.
- Each stack was supported or stabilized by one of the adjacent stacks.
Solution
- Bespoke dedicated stack support structure build to and integrated in the existing façade structure, allowing independent support of the stack and ducting.
- Extra temporarily support of existing stacks for individual removal.
- Stacks are designed with smaller diameters, carbon steel and a dedicated coating system.
