SCR/Oxycat
As greenhouse grower you do not only want to have your gas engine meet the local legislation for emission limits but you also want to use your gas engine for CO2 dosing in your greenhouse. This requires all damaging elements such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxides (CO) and incompletely burnt hydrocarbons such as ethene and C2H4 to be transformed to the useful CO2 . To have this transformation take place you could use a combined SCR with Oxycat. In the first stage the nitrogen oxides are transformed to unharmful nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water by the selective catalyst reduction using urea as reagent. In the second stage the unburned hydrocarbons (ethene) and carbon monoxides are transformed to CO2. This transformation typically takes place at a temperature of 400˚C which is in line with the exhaust gas temperature of a gas engine. Array Industries not only designs and supplies an optimized SCR / Oxycat for you but we completely integrate the SCR in your exhaust gas system taking into account all aspects such as noise level, backpressure, heat recovery and CO2 recuperation. Your emissions in control!
